Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator
Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator is a casual indie fighting game (aka the insult simulator) published by Vile Monarch game studio in 2017. In this game, you don’t have to fight using the character’s hands. Instead, you have to combine phrases from a feed to make sentences and offend enemies to eliminate them. You can download Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator for PS4 on PlayStation™Store.
Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator game design is based on comic retro-style pixel-art and polygons. Developers managed to invent a unique visual style that perfectly underlines the humoristic slant of the game. The vast majority of characters are real historical personalities, and they look hilarious!
Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator gameplay is based on classic mechanics of turn-based fighting games like Heroes of Might and Magic, Battle-Brothers, and Darkest Dungeon. Unlike these titles, Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator latest version offers you to experience swearing-in style of stereotypical British snobs.
In the beginning, the game provides you three characters – John Shufflebottom, Sir Knight, and Mrs. Maggie. Your opponents are mostly famous personalities of the 19th and 20th centuries and characters from video games. You can fight with Serious Sam, the brutal guy from Postal, Howard Lovecraft, the God, and many others. Developers continue to add characters with updates. At the moment of submitting this Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator review there were 11 buddies with different scenarios.
There are multiple conflict scenarios, so every battle is a unique swearing competition. You have to match fragments of phrases to make up rude sentences about opponent’s children, style, speech, appearance, intelligence, and other categories. The more inventive you are, the more harm your attacks do. To unlock characters, you must complete specific objectives that are given in descriptions under every unit.
This 2D quest game doesn’t require any spatial actions, so you can easily buy even with the DualShock 1! Of course, the game is thoroughly optimized for DS 4 either. You have to use the left stick for navigation and the X button for making choices.

The Bottom Line
This casual game is a real finding for all fans of weird games and British comedy sketches. Developers don’t include abusive language, so you can play this game with children under 18 if they catch the idea. It’s a unique experience that is great for long evenings with a cuppa tea.
